Extended rear-facing is the safest way to travel for children from around 9 months up to 4 years — and the seats in this collection are designed to do exactly that. Rear-facing distributes the force of a collision across a child's entire back, neck, and head, rather than concentrating it at the harness. The difference in protection is substantial.
